what do you think has helped you the most in recovery?
I call it the three Ps: patience, perseverance, and perspective. The patience to sit with my feelings and wait through my emotions, the patience to grow and learn, and the patience to let go of my pain. The perseverance to keep working on health and recovery. The perspective to understand the difference between eating disorder mentality and behavior, and recovery. Does that resonate at all?
